Travel to Dhaka by international train Maitree Express. Explore Bangladesh’s capital city, Dhaka & its historic sites. Visit the ashram of Lokonath Brahmachari, Old Capital Sonargaon, the historic port city Chattagram, Rangamati of Chittagong Hill Tracts, and finally the beach town Cox’s Bazar, the longest beach in the world.
Day 01: Welcome to Dhaka by Flight/Train/Bus
This morning we will welcome you at Dhaka airport then straight transfer to downtown Dhaka for sightseeing tour. Places of interest are Liberation war museum, National Assembly Building (Shangsad Bhavan) House of Bangabandu, Liberation war museum, Dhakeshwari Temple, Lal Bagh (Red Fort) Armenian church etc. Overnight in Hotel, Dhaka (D)
Day 02: Sun 4 Feb Padda River cruise
After breakfast we drove to Mawa of Munshiganj district to enjoy a cruise in Padda river which is one of the longest & widest river of the country. After arrival in Mawa we take a stroll in the local village market and then embark into our wooden traditional peacock cruise boat. Enjoy the relaxing river cruise and see the riverside life of Bangladesh. You'll get a chance to visit one of the riverside villages and interact with the villagers. In the late afternoon we returned back to Dhaka.Overnight at Hotel, Dhaka. (B/L)
After breakfast, travel to Chattagram. En route we visited the Ashram of Baba Lokenath Brahmachari in Barodi and Sonargaon (Panam Nagar) the old capital. It was the capital of East Bengal before moving to Dhaka in the 17th century and the center of famous MUSLIN fabric. We may visit the War cemetery in Mainamati, Comilla if time permits. Arrive Chattagram in the early evening. Overnight at Hotel, Chattagram (B/D)
Day 04: Chattogram to Cox's Bazar
After breakfast we take a sightseeing tour of Chattogram covering the places of interest including the Master Da Surjo Sen's house, In the afternoon we drive to Cox's Bazar. Overnight in a Hotel. Cox s Bazar. (B/D)
Day 05: Cox's Bazar-Inani Beach
After breakfast we drive to Enani sea beach through the marine drive, Spend your own time strolling on the beach. Afternoon you can visit the Radiant Fish Aquarium, Evening you may visit Burmese Market in the old town of Cox s Bazar. Overnight in Hotel, Cox s Bazar. (B/D)
Day 06: Cox s Bazar to Dhaka, Overnight Launch to Barisal
After breakfast we drove to Dhaka via Chattogram. En route we may visit Ramu Buddhist temple if time permits. We stopped for lunch in Chattogram and then resumed our journey to Dhaka. Arrive Dhaka by evening and then transfer to Sadarghat for overnight ferry Launch to Barisal (B/D)
Day 07: Barisal & Surroundings, Barisal to Khulna
Today we explore Barisal and it's surrounding areas and try to cover highlights such as the House of poet Jibananda Das, Shankor moth, Oxford Mission church,Kalibari temple etc. Afternoon we drove to Moheshpur Palpara to visit the largest poetry village of Bangladesh. We return back to Barisal and after lunch we drive to Khulna. Overnight in Hotel, Khulna (B/D)
Day 08: Departure Khulna
After breakfast our service ends. (B)
